Just suggesting this because I noticed that in the forum games section there were a couple of topics that involved roleplaying, and some people really got into it. This is has also be very successful and popular in another forum. Idk it's just a thought

Actually I wouldn't mind having a Role-playing section even though most of my role-playing doesn't take place in public 75% of the time. 8D.

If your gonna make a roleplay, why not adding rules to it?
Agreeing to what Andy was saying,
just have rules, that you can't make cheesy, shitty OCs.

first off: OCs???
second: the rules of a Roleplay are normally written within the roleplay topic, due to each single roleplay is unique, therefore, they shouldn't be held down by the same rules with each other. Each roleplay must have a specific set of rules pertaining to that rp to prevent conflicts with others

I agree that each roleplaying thread should have it's own rules but let's have common sense, we need some rules that will apply to all threads. Like general rules. That will be necessary to avoid shitty OCs and failed situations.

Andy; based on the posts in this thread I don't think anyone is going to do Naruto or any of that shit. And I'm pretty sure we all know what role-playing is too; and everyone should be smart enough to realize the apparent 'face-palming' or EVEN HEAD DESKING TOO!

Besides; I wont let it happen because I have my ways.

Also; furries make Waru very pissed and annoyed.

Of course and also I have a great set/fact thing of statistics as well.

GAIA Online is a website that has been going on since 2003 and started off as mostly a forum that was for role-playing and talking about everyday life/socializing. Right now on the internet, they are one of the top role-playing hang outs there are. Not only that but hey have horrid role-players. Throughout the years they've gotten somewhat better as well.

What I'm saying is, if people like them have bad role-players I doubt we'll have any. It's as simple as that.

Ohgod, I haven't really had any positive experiences with "role-playing" aside from playing "role-playing" based games.

The thing that makes me face palm about certain "role-playing" is when people google "hot sexy anime chick" and use that as their character. Yes, I'm refering to Gaia Online.

And about this suggestion, I'm just like "Meh". If the community really wants it, I'll give it to them. But I'm not at the point where I love this suggestion so much that I would make a separate forum just for it before hearing the opinions from the community. That doesn't mean I'm against it though.

Yeah, honestly it's not even that important. There's always 'Forum-games'. And maybe potentially a sub-forum with in that forum.

That was actually the plan, to make a sub forum. There's really no need to make a completely new forum. I just thought of this idea because if we were to start roleplaying in the games section and more and more people got into it, then the forum games section would get kind of messy. I was just thinking a little bit of organization. But maybe we could stick with the forum games section, and then if roleplaying becomes popular, then everyone can decide on whether they want to make a sub-forum
