[E]The Lightning Thief

Basically, it's what twilight should have been. (IMO)
If you saw the movie, No. Just no. The movie got 80% of the facts wrong, just like any movie based off of a book.
So, this kid named Percy Jackson has ADHD and Dyslexia, and has been kicked out of every school he's ever been in. His mom is married to some lard named Gabe, or Smelly Gabe. His mom doesn't like him at all. She did it for a reason. Percy's real dad left when he was a baby, and Percy hated him for it. Then, a Fury disguised as his teacher, named Mrs. Dodds, finds him and tries to kill him. You'll have to read the series to find out more ♥ It's more action-y then romance, but the romance is there if you're willing to find it. It's really cute owo

Interesting. My sister has to read this book for her school's pre-AP course, so maybe I can read it when she's done with it.

It's way better then I described it, and the chapter names are awesome lol.
(first chapter is I accidentally vaporized my pre-algebra teacher)

Oh, I've read this series and I absolutely loved it. ♥
I wish they could make a sequel-series or something though, because it'd be interesting to find out what fricken happens with the main couple. >:P
But like what Rin said, it has some really good & vivid action scenes. And funny bits in the middle.
